Keeping Workers Safe in Confined Spaces

This course is built for workers who enter, work in, or supervise activities involving confined spaces. From tanks and vessels to manholes and storage bins, confined space hazards are serious, and the regulation is clear. This course makes sure your team knows exactly what’s required before anyone steps inside.

Participants will learn how to identify confined spaces and classify them, understand atmospheric hazards and the equipment used to monitor them, develop and review entry procedures, and apply the roles and responsibilities outlined under BC OHS Regulation Part 9. The course includes a practical component covering atmospheric testing equipment, isolation procedures, and emergency response planning.

Upon successful completion, participants receive a wallet card and certificate valid for three years, meeting WorkSafeBC requirements for confined space entry training.
